Perdo's fine Latin venezuelan cuisine about us
Perdos fine Latin venezuelan cuisine FamilyBorn in Caracas, Venezuela, Pedro Alarcon and his five siblings, Carmen, Dorys, César, Ursula Soraya and Beatriz, were raised by their mother Leda Isabel and father Pedro Nolasco. “Mama Leda,” like most Spanish mothers, was a true artist when it came to cooking and the nurturing of the soul. She believed all matters could be resolved over a great meal and a hearty talk at the dinner table, for there was no greater source of harmony. One of Pedro’s fondest and most vivid memories of her was her daily mastering of each meal; her dishes were simple, prepared with the perfect amount of spices and, of course, plenty of love. Her doors were perpetually open to welcome all friends to sit at her table.

The fundamental connection Leda Alarcon made between good food and conversation and the health of body and spirit is a philosophy Pedro has carried with him through life, and is reflected in his two Boston area restaurants’ warm ambiance and wonderful Spanish cuisine. He is passionate about his cooking and about sharing his family’s tradition of hospitality with his patrons. His dishes, like his mother’s, are simple, pure and delicious, created with the perfect balance of spices and love. In honoring these customs and offering fine Latin-American cuisine to you, he pays tribute to his mother and his heritage, and welcomes you wholeheartedly to
his table.
